is there anyone out there who has invested in a fly screen for the 600n.i think i need one for a section of motorway travelling i do each day.do fly screens effect the handling in side winds ?.im also looking at a set of crash bars in chrome any one bought and fitted these.cheers for any comments on these matters .

Not only cheap at £23 but also very effective and genuinely will increase your comfortable cruising speed.

Even a small screen makes a huge difference to motorway cruising. Never noticed any effect on handling with mine. Dead easy to fit if it's the type that goes on the two headlamp bolts.
Crash bars are also a good investment - the bike's bound to get dropped sometime, and they save no end of damage. Imho the Renntec ones are sturdier than Yamaha's own. Both can be a bit of a fiddle to fit if you don't have a second pair of hands to help.

I had a Fabbri flyscreen on mine for the daily commute along the M4/A4, made a huge difference

Same as I had on my old CB-1. Give it a couple of tries to get the angle right (looks close as you have it) and then relax and enjoy improved cruising comfort
