I have tried and tried to get my fork cap bolts off the top of the forks with no luck. I have loosened the top yoke bolts BTW. Some sod has over tightened these cap bolts after they did the fork seals. So I am on the hunt for a good secondhand pair. The socket was a good fit and I used my torque wrench for better leverage but all that happened was the hex nut started to distort so I gave up. I will have to hack these off once I get a replacement pair.
