I just noticed to day that my left hand indicators are flashing twice as fast as my right ones.
I replaced all 4 bulbs with brand new ones and there is no change.
Any guesses? I'm thinking flasher relay, but I don't have a spare to check.

As far as I know the same flasher relay operates both sides, so it probably isn't that. More likely to be a bad connection causing high resistance (and hence reduced current) somewhere on the fast side, so the relay thinks one of the bulbs has gone.
It could be anywhere from the flasher switch through to one (or both) of the flashers themselves. Check the brightness of the bulbs, and if one looks dimmer than the rest, that's the one to check out. If both front and back are equally (and possibly only slightly) dim, the problem's probably in the common wiring before the split to front and back.
Of course I could be completely wrong.......

Happened to my divvy the left was flashing faster than right ones. Turned out the earth wire going to the left rear flasher had a bad connection somewhere inside the indicator stalk. I just ran a new earth wire from bulb holder to the connection under the tail piece. This cured it. Check that the bulb holders are not corroded as this can give a similar symptom.
