Just bought 1998 mod xj 600 s and im really happy about it except when on the trip home I found when day became night that lamps on speedometer etc didnt work. All manual says is that it needs 3x 12v 1.7w bulbs.
Anyone have an easy solution on how to access the bulbs ?
blink, neutral and oil lights are working fine. its just the main meters.

It's an absolute pain in the arse to do, you are better off taking the fairing off unless you have the hands of a 5 year old girl.
Swap for original if you can find the same rating. Don't go too much higher or you will dazzle yourself at night! You can also fit LEDs (cheap on ebay) so you never have to do it again, it's a similar struggle on my T595 so that's what I did.
