re the amount to use 375cc or 13fl ozs, I assume but correct if I am wrong this is about 360ml of fluid in each leg thx

It's best to use the level, rather than a measured quantity.
Haynes gives 111 mm for 92-95 models and 116 mm for later ones, "measured from the top of the fork tube, with the fork fully compressed and the spacer, spring seat and spring removed."
This assumes the fork leg is off the bike, which it has to be to get the old oil out, of course.
Make sure that all air has been forced out by working the forks over the full stroke as many time as it takes for all bubbles to clear, before doing a final top-up.

Pour the oil slowly with the leg held at an angle and you should not trap too much air.
When you put the fork top caps back in, make sure the top triple clamp is loose. The threads wont fit with the top clamps tightened.
Its also worth holding the fork lower in a vice and turning the stanchion. If the end wobbles you have a bent fork leg.
