Hi guys bulb has blown in my speed guage any ideas what bulb it takes and how to replace it.

The instrument cover panel comes off with the windscreen and you can then get the cluster out. If the rubber nuts are stuck push them through and pick them up off the floor.
LED bulbs are not cheap but much better than the standard type. Dont risk higher wattage bulbs - on some bikes they can overheat the speedo panel behind the glass.

I think you were describin an xjs i have an xjn with the dial seperate from the main pannel would it still be the same removal sequence
