I got one of these for a much more reasonable £39.99 from Aldi. Battery life last 2 hours and you can get 85 mins of 720i HD footage on an 8Gb SD card. Here's a review.... Anyway, I mounted it to the RAM ball in the middle of the yolk on the bike and fixed it vertically - a mistake as it picked up some reflections from the screen and some wind noise. In fact, I thought there may be more wind noise and I may have to shield the microphone - but it looks like that'll be unnecessary, I just need to position the camera closer to the screen. The main issue that I need to sort is the V-twin character of the bike rattling the battery around under harder acceleration, causing the camera to switch off. So of the clips below, Video 1 is short-ish as the camera cuts out. Videos 2 & 3 are longer, but I've had to short shift through the gears and not let the bike sing... Anyway, not bad for a cheap, splashproof camera that's ideal for hols, sports, letting kids use etc. Video 1 Video 2 Video 3 Film taken between Withernsea and Hornsea, which formed part of the Yorkshire Saturday Run.

I'm surprised they're still around to be had tbh, the original post was well over 2 years ago - tech has moved on since then, but they still produce decent results for the money. Gratuitous Timmelsjoch descent post... Check out "Techmoan" on Youtube - he does a great number of current reviews for cheap cameras suitable for bikes........ www.youtube.com/user/techmoan
