Hello everyone, I have just joined but have been browsing the site for a couple of week as a guest. I got rid of my last bike in April 09, sold all my gear etc and was giving it all up. But after some time I have now decided I want another bike again. My garage does not look right with a space in it. I have been riding bikes since 1988 and once its in your blood then its very hard to give it up. I am after a Divvy 900, and I will post this in the wanted section. Catch you all around the site. Cheers Karl.

Hi Karl. Welcome to the YDC. You are right about bikes becomimg a habit you cannot stop. But why should we? Enjoy. I am long past the age when I should have stopped riding. Or so my kids tell me! I don't agree. I shall probably ride bikes until it's time to hand my leathers in to the Guv'nor Enjoy the site and keep us posted on your bike choice. The Div900 is a good bike. Bit top heavy, but you get used to that. Very torquey and reliable.

Thanks for the welcome guys...
I like torque...I dont like too high revs...I prefer to just twist and go. My fave bike for relaxed riding was my ZZR1100, from 25mph in top gear just roll on the throttle. Great bike...once it gets to 90mph in top gear then it really takes off. I sold it because I was pushing it through the corners trying to follow my mates on their R1's and zx9's. So I then got an Aprilla RSV Mille...that was a different kettle of fish, such low down torque, low revs and a beautiful sound from the v twin...awesome, but that had to go as things were getting stupid at that point, what with police speed checks, and constant hassle from the police and risk of losing my license, no points on it but it was not worth the risk.
So I'm after a divvy 900, something relaxed and easy to ride, plus I like shaft drive. Had a Suzuki gs850 and a guzzi v50 and never had any problem with the shaft drive at all.
