Will I have the opportunity to book into travelodges[1], do you have details of the places you will be stopping over so that I can book accommodation [1] I don't do camping ;D Now then Clive, saturday night we'll be mostly stopping in St Buryan, just short of Land's end - tiny place, so no travelodge (but there may be summat close-ish).Sunday night will be north devon, maybe same as last year which was in between Ilfracombe and Combe Martin. There's a lovely set of steps down the cliff to a deserted beach - really nice first thing in the morning.

LOL Clive. As Dave says the Saturday might be slightly harder to find somewhere near the camp site....unless they rent statics but don't think they do. There is a pub in the village, not sure they have rooms but I can enquire. Failing that, I'm sure there'll be somewhere further North.....I'll source it for ya and post the options on here.

Clive...and anyone else who doesn't want to camp....Tower Park Camp site (Saturday night) do have static caravans on offer. It would be worth getting a few people together to stay in one and as it ain't the School Holidays I'm pretty sure they'd do a deal for the one night.
The second site doesn't appear to have statics but there are B&Bs in the area that I can source for people.

Jools, How are we doing booking campsites? Now got my own tent from a retired camping biker (camping not biking) . Even put it up to see how it works. Hope to try it out in France if all the dummies that have been spat out get back in the right gobs ;D Any way moving on swiftly how do we sort out brekkie at the sites, please say we cook on site, I love that.

The two camp sites are booked up. I'll check with the first one, but last time we stayed there you could either do your own breaky or buy a bacon, sausage or veggie roll from the office. We didn't bother to eat there, instead we rode to the next town after we'd packed the bikes up and stopped at a cafe down near the sea....very nice cooked breaky. The second place has a bar and restaurant on the site or people could cook on site. Again, we took a trip onto the next place and had breaky in a nice cafe next to a river....also very nice! ;D If you want to cook stuff then please do. As long as we're all packed and ready to go by a certain time on both mornings then nae worries. Obviously you'll have to endure Tea, Coffee, cream teas or whatever else you decide to eat when you're waiting for us to eat breaky! ;D

On 2nd thoughts why deprive the locals of a living ;D I'm happy to eat brekkie cooked by someone else if it's fairly close. If I can hear my stomach over the bike we've got problems.

Have a breaky roll at the first place before you pack up and that'll keep you going to the breaky stop.
The second place has a small shop as well, so grab a breakfast bar or summin to tied you over till we stop for breakfast! ;D

Don't worry Bev.... I'll be leading at a fairly sedate pace (apart from the odd silly moments when mad wimmin on fazers decide they want to play). The road from Land's end to the next stop is pretty narrow and windy, and caught me out on a couple of occasions last year.

G man,
Are we getting T shirts for this run? Contourmac has a supplier & it may be possible to get destination changed for another production run.
