Then I would like to recommend this chap Jimmy Hope in Falkirk, FK1 5NB Just got my seat back, exactly 7 days after sending it off to him. Fantastic first class job done in my opinion. I have been trying for ages to get some of that basketweave material and have been quoted some silly prices for it. Jimmy quoted me £48 to recover the seat, plus return p&p £13. I had a choice of colour for the piping but opted for Black. If anybody wants further info for contact drop me a message and I will get back to you. Keith

£48 for covering ALL of your seat is truly a bargain imo The job looks a good 'un, was it just re-covering or did he reshape it too, if not does he do that ?

He must have done some shaping as the actual contour has changed.

Cheers m'dear, and it never crossed my mind about you having it lowered I'll have a word, no rush, thinking of flattening the Striple seat, (it tends to slope forward to the tank), and putting a grippy texture on it, when you brake it don't half make the crown jewels resonate !

Wish I had seen this a couple of months ago, instead of getting ripped off to the tune of £75 by a guy in Johnstone for re-covering mine. Oh, and bunging in an extra piece of padding while he was at it! Have to say it is quite a good job, but done simply with plain vinyl and much less labour intensive than the work done on yours Keith. Hopefully you won't notice the swap after Moffat in May .
