Hi, Recently in another post CD mentioned about his bikes throttle response at small openings to be "on/off" is this something the D9 has problems with? only I'm finding when I've just turned into another road and I want a tiny bit of gas it's like a huge take up of back lash and the bike leaps forward or pushes the wheel sideways a little when just opening the throttle, if I'm in a straight line and opening it up normally no probs. Steve.

That's not normal. You might want to try some new spark plugs and check the throttle position sensor is correctly set. Also make sure the throttle cables are all ok.
900s are normally quite smooth on take-up, thought the shaft can make the drive feel very direct compared to a chain.
Mine's now got a hesitancy that was not there with the std cans. Its never that bad and only going up from low throttle settings at speed. Overall power however feels better with the new cans so they cant be far out. I probably just need to adjust the carb air jets and see if that helps.
