Some will tell you its a good idea to check nuts & bolts after I've been near a bike. Don't listen to em .

Much of the fluid is in the lines & the calipers though - so you need to bleed the system & run a couple of master cylinders worth of new fluid through, to fully replace the old stuff. Have a read of this: www.therevcounter.com/motorbike-articles/34369-motorbike-brakes-beginners-information-bleeding-guide.htmlI'm guessing that you work somewhere near-ish to where you live - so getting over to mine with much daylight left to actually do much is probably not on for Saturday . Have a go, using that website (there are also loads of videos on youtube, if you want to watch someone else before having a go yourself.) Or if you'd prefer to do it with someone else to hand, suggest another day / time. If I'm free, I'll let you know.

The syringe idea pushed new fliud up from the caliper end rather than down from the master cylinder. It (usually) works for me but its no garantee and sometimes the last few air bubbles just wont get out.
