Need a bit of help here please - Diversion 900, 2000 model. I'm trying to adjust the right hand mirror ,first by loosening the 17mm nut that holds the stem where it fits onto the handlebar mount. It won't budge under fairly hefty pressure. I have the left hand one loosened ok, its normal thread i.e. loosens when turned anti clockwise .Does anyone know for sure if the rh mirror nut also loosens anti clockwise, or is it a reverse thread? I'm afraid to give it too much wellie in case I crack the cast mounting. Any help appreciated

I think you'll find the two mirrors ARE opposite threaded. My 600 is. No reason why the 900 is any different. Just be careful ;D

Thanks for the help lads. I decided to chance and hope that it was left hand thread - yes it is!! But it was tight. I may not have been the first to try opening it the wrong way. I needed to move it as I have just got the Skidmarx Super flip screen, and I have the bars fairly far forward for comfort, so the mirrors foul the new screen fairly badly. I think I will make up a short 2" plate to locate the existing mirrors back towards me, then they will not foul the screen, the angle will remain the same, and I won't have to move the bars back so that the mirrors clear the screen on full lock. Sounds more complicated than it is!!

There are standard after market mirror kits (pairs), with 'one side' adaptor threads if needed, I've seen. Don't know if they're available in the UK....?

The LH thread nuts have a slot milled in the corners.
