I've lost a well nut at the top R(as u look at it from front) of the screen. Before I go to all the fiddling about of putting a new one in does anyone think the plastic clips are a better way to go.
I've heard they are more forgiving if the screen is banged. If they are Ok what size should I get? Hole in screen is 6mm i think but should I get a 4mm clip to allow for the expansion?

Well nuts with plastic screws.
I half dropped both the Divi & the Fazer in the garage (at different times ;D) and both came to rest on the screen only damage (apart from my back trying to stop the Divi) broken screws easily replaced.

To put the well nut back, only needs the screen taking off. No need to strip everything.
BTW when the well nuts have compressed and stop the fairing from coming apart, just push them right though (though they do tend to roll about a bit!).

5mm I believe but best take a ruller to the screws on the bake.
