OK, not really a gadget, but, for those who haven't yet heard of it - it's a new type of search engine. <<WAKE UP AT THE BACK!>> ;D www.wolframalpha.com/Stay with me though, cos it looks promising... don't think of it as a Google replacement - more of a Wikipedia replacement/Google mixed. Here's a video guide on examples of how to use it - 'cos you do need to know how to drive the thing to get the best results. Introducing WolframAlphaHere's my example - entering "230mi/20L" (without quotes) returns, amongst other things "52.28 Mpg (UK)" Handy.
