When putting together a wingrack from different sources I found that a diagram would have been helpful, certainly for the mounting kit, if only to identify what was missing. Now I have them these may be of assistance to others in the same boat: D9 Mounting Kit: General diagram:

Thanks for posting the the diagrams.... I was about to post an email to ask if I can fit just the side arms of the wing rack to my D9, as it already has a carrier rack and universal monolock plate to box plate..... Judging from the diagram, I think I might just aswell take the carrier off and fit the whole wingrack, complete with topbox plate. However, I'd be grateful if anyone with a wingrack could take look at my photos below and advise..... Thanks! Bernardo

You would probably be able to fit just the side frames of the Wingrack with your current rack but you will not be able to fit the centre section which provides bombproof rigidity.
This may not be too big a problem for small side boxes and light loads but I wouldn't feel comfortable with my E45s loaded up at speed without the centre bridge.
To be honest I would suggest that the extra cost of the centre section is negligible when considering the security of the load at speed. However, looking at your universal plate it seems different to the Wingrack plate as there are additional slots for bolting to the centre section. Would yours fit? I'm not sure.
When/if you take your current rear rack off you will also need to fit a pair of D9 grab handles. These are a piece of cake and perhaps a tenner on fleabay.
I'll try to post up some photos of my Wingrack fitment.
