All being well, I should have my Divvy back up and running... and will need to test fuel consumption and new luggage rack ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Fancy a trip to Matlock Bath? ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Bob - Let me know if it's on, if you don't mind some company. Stamford is 117 miles from me, so your start is a borderline "do-I-want-travel-that-far" venue ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) . Beebs - Matlock Bath is a good way beyond my 100 miles suggested limit for travelling to (it's about 150). Would that be the finish? Where would the start be please?

Perhaps start at McDonalds, Wall, Lichfield (where Trent Valley ended) say 11-ish - I know a nice few roads to take us to MB for lunch and back again ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

I can shave another couple of miles off that if we start from my house. Do you want me to PM you my postcode? Obviously won't post postcode here as I don't want all the riff-raff around ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Coffee/tea is free too. Of course my route will also include hills whereas with Bob and Fern's I predict will be rather flat ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) I wonder if others may join... or meet at Matlock Bath? (about 12:30, 1 ish) ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

.. Do you want me to PM you my postcode? No thanks - My satnav is too Neanderthal for postcodes. But PM your address. Free tea / coffee seems compelling ;D.

Probably won't check site again, so if anyone wants to join us - be at McDonalds, Wall Island, Lichfield (where A5 meets A5127 - on A5127 heading to Lichfield) for 11:00 - 11:10. Or meet you at Matlock Bath about 1-ish pavillion car park, I'll be on the Divvy ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) PS - Bring some bread to feed the ducks ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Fern and myself will be leaving the services on the A605 / A1 at 1100 hrs
the run is about 60 ish miles depending on what happens and a stop at the pub to talk about food. It should all end about 1430 /1500 hrs (ish)
If any body turns up then we have got a SMALL hill to climb so bring oxygen.
We will leave at 1100 hrs prompt....

3 bikes, 1 car was the best we could manage at Matlock Bath.
All the same, good to see you all again - don't think we've seen Greeny since June's Derbyshire run.
Hope Beebs and M40man enjoyed the run back to my house and then got back home safely.
Looking forward to seeing loads of you on the Frosty Rollocks.
Cheers
Trevor

Had a brilliant day. Thanks for Martin for being backmarker on our run up to Matlock Bath, I didn't see you picking up any markers though.... and your not supposed to overtake the run leader. ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) Nice to meet Trev, Greeny and Linz at Matlock Bath.... and enjoyed the run to Trev's for coffee (thanks Sue). Hope your Satnav got you back ok Martin or are you spending the night in Leeds? ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) Ducks were happy ;D

thanks to Max for joining us on the trial run. Chris was his name by the way. We managed 4 bikes on the run and one was a Divvy ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png) You had better turn up on the run if only to steer me right on THE Right Turn ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) See you all soon Bob

Well, after a rather extended (& rather moist!) journey to meet up with Beebs, we got to the 'official' start a little late. No matter, though, here's all the bikes lined up at the start (Note: 50% were Divvys ;D: ![](http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u42/m40man/Matlock-25-11-2007/101_0092-1.jpg) Arriving at Matlock we encountered some friendly passers-by who took a pic of all of us: ![](http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u42/m40man/Matlock-25-11-2007/101_0093-1.jpg) So we took a pic of the passers-by: ![](http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u42/m40man/Matlock-25-11-2007/101_0094-1.jpg) 'Twas nice to meet-up with Paul, then Peter & Linz & the Hyperactive small people, & Trev at Matlock. Later, Sue too - as she kindly provided tea & biscuits! Thanks, Sue. Thanks for the run to Matlock, Paul. Martin. Edit: Pics swapped fpr smaller pics to aid your surfing experience ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)
