I fancy changing the stock ones on my Divvy for something a bit smarter and wanted some recommendations.
Also will it improve vibe reduction? and what is the internal diameter of the bars on a Diversion 900?
Cheers for any help.

Heavier bar end wieights will improve the vibes as the weights need more energy to change direction so damp out some of the vibes. But Divvie weights seem to be quite special with integral threads etc into the bar ends. I have thought about drilling out the weights and filling with molten lead. First I need a spare pair so if (when) I mess up it won't matter.

Why not pour lead shot / sand into the bars themselves?

To damp out the vibes you really need the weight as far out as possible.
Several accessories people (e.g. Motrax?) do Yamaha-specific bar-ends in anodised alloy, but they'll be lighter so the vibration will move up the scalle a bit. I think many of the sports models are the same as the D9.
Alternatively get a pair of Renthals, which are ally so have much more internal damping and then you could probably get away with much lighter, smarter (and cheaper) weights.

The lead shot idea sounds good should be easy enough to pour out again if it's no help.
Moving the vibe damping up the rev range is possibly not much help as the D9 isnt all that revvy.
