The indicator switch gear on my '95 D9 has suddenly gone all vague on me - sometimes the indicators work, sometimes not. Not the situation to be in when in commuter traffic in the city...
Before I take the screwdriver to the unit:
~ Has anyone any experience of this? ~ Is the switch unit dis-assemblable and can it be cleaned up? ~ Is it best to trash it and get another? ~ And if so, does anyone have a good one going spare?
Ta muchly

Probably just corroded contacts, take apart and clean, should then be ok.

Ta muchly Dan It's imps, mate - nowt you can do about it short of getting the bike exorcised. They take up residence during the cold months - during the summer they're quite happy cavorting anywhere they can make trouble.

I have had this and found that it was corrosion on the indicator connections themselves that made the switch appear not to work.
