Any thoughts on these?
Good bad or indifferent?

Fitted the hagon ones to my D9, a marked improvement over the old ones I reckon.

Hagon springs are one of the mods which is actually worth doing, the front end of a D9 is like a pogo stick when standard.

Had the Hagons on my 900 and they certainly do make a difference. Well worth the money.

Has anyone compared the Hagon progressive springs to the Hyperpro progressive springs, pricewise and quality.
Steve.

As I'm looking at replacing the stanchions on the D9 it might be worth doing this at the same time.
What kind of cost am I looking at for progressive springs, and who offers the best price?

There's a few D900 forks on fleabay at the moment. Maybe worth a look. I have standard springs on mine with 15 weight oil. OK but I'm sure progressive springs would be even better. I've had Hagon shocks and they are nicely made so every reason to believe their fork springs would be good. M&P were recently selling Hagon stuff cheap. Edit: Just looked at... www.mandp.co.uk/products/list/Handling/Fork-Springs... Not discounted any more but shows the cost differentials.

Aye CD, have looked at eBay, there's a pair of '98 fork legs. My D9 is a '95...
Would you know if the stanchions are the same across the whole age range and newer stanchions can go into older legs, or were there were chnages to them over time?

As far as I know the only change was the addition of adjusters on the top in about 98 or 99. This doesn't affect interchangeability.

The fork spring adjusters raise the ride height a little (maybe) but I can't feel any difference in the handling. The later forks should drop straight in. Or get the yokes and be 110% sure.
