Hello, I checked my air filter, and it looks pretty dirty, plus my fuel mpg has fallen slightly. But looking at one for the divi 9 on the wemoto web site the air filter is different to the one I currently have, it is a lot and I mean a lot smaller, it would not fit my bike. ( To confirm: The air filter is the one under the petrol tank, right)
So could some please point me to a web site that do air filters for the d9.
thanks dxtans

I've always tended to use genuine over pattern parts because I've felt that they would be a higher quality. Not based on any science, just gut feeling.
What are other people's experiences or thoughts on this?
Is there much difference between a genuine Yamaha and a pattern airfilter? Does the genuine restrict performance or is there another reason for fitting an aftermarket one?

I've tended to think the same as far as filters are concerned, though I sometimes use Champion filters from Halfrauds as I can't see them putting their name on an inferior product. The fact is that often there's little difference in price so it's down to which is the most convenient.
For other parts like sprockets, discs, pads etc. I usually go for a reputable aftermarket make.
