www.acidplanet.com/components/playfile.asp?asset=1174432&T=8864First attempt at doing a vid, and i know its not perfect. Recorded in HD, took 4 bl**dy hours to upload! Via sony vegas pro8. If anyone knows better/easier product for AVCHD files please let me know. Day 1: rode from bolton to Anglesey, via Llangollen/A5. Also did anticlockwise tour of Anglesey coast roads. Day 2: rode to Bala frm Anglesey via "very back" roads. Managed to pick the nice twisties just before Bala. Re: OAP run. Carried on to Lake Vernwy- Stunning! Then over single track mountain pass to Aberdovey, and then followed coast road back to Anglesey. Dry till 4pm/dark, then heavens opened. 20mph max-no vision/street lights. Happy to make it back in one piece! Day 3. Followed A5 back towards A483, then let newly fitted sat nav take us round some very obscure country lanes/villages, till we landed at M53/M6 Jct. Very wet n cold all day. Overall very sucessfull weekend, 675miles in total. Bike even dirtier than after OAP! Pics: s309.photobucket.com/albums/kk367/stev1der/ANGLESEY%20BIKE%20RUN/

Great pics.
Re your uploading problems. According to the Sony website
Saves: AA3, AC3, AIF, ATRAC, AVC, AVI, FLAC, MOV, MP3, MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video, MPEG-4, M2T, M2TS, Sony MXF, OGG, PCA, RM, W64, WAV, WMA, WMV
So you need to save it as a smaller file format. At the moment it sounds like you're saving in HD which will take hours to upload. So I'm assuming it's a matter of telling the software what format you want to save the file as ................

Cheers Matt.
What would you say is the best compromise in quality/time taken up upload, and Youtube-able!

I always upload as WMA or WMV and use Windows Moviemaker for youtube uploads as it has a setting specifically for uploads to broadband etc. You just create the clips and when you save it save it as an upload file. The quality isn't as good full screen but it uploads in minutes rather than hours. Windows Moviemaker will recognise your camera as long as its plugged into the PC before you start the program.
