I'm having problems getting the silencers to fit? Anyone got some photos they could post? b shaped silencer clamps, which side of the footrest bracket are they meant to go, inside or out. Just that I'm losing patience, and the PC crashed big time!!!!!! I can't seem to get the left hand silencer alignment correct? Perhaps I should loosen the collector box clamp, but I don't think that will make much difference as the 4 downpipes in the front of the collector box will probably stop it from pivoting to the amount that I need, won't it??? Frustration isn't the word believe me!

I had a few problems fitting my systems until I worked it out,had to walk away and try another day and then it went smoothly, the clamps go on the out side of the footrest brackets and you need to have the collector box fixing bolt loose also make sure the link pipe with the bump stop bracket fitted is on the left hand side (when sitting on the bike),make sure the clamps for the link pipes are really loose and copper slip the inside of the links so they can be easily twisted when all fitted together, as you have to twist the link pipes to obtain the best fit, slide the silencer on and twist the link pipe around until the silencers fit ,they will splay out a bit more at the rear of the bike in order to clear the rear axle bolt, it is hard to put into words but the silencers will not fit parallel with the bike, also on mine the bump stop bracket does not sit level with the floor but stick out away from the bike a bit. It's difficult to explain but I had exactly the same problems fitting mine and as I said after leaving a day and getting the missus help the next day it all went on right and looks good and sounds great all in all I am pleased with my choice, but it really is a case of fiddling around with the silencers and link pipes untill they fit, just remembered, I had to bend the silencer straps mounting tabs(the bits that the bolts go through)about to get the best fit,it a shame you are so far away as I would come and show you my bike and help you fit them, are there any members in your area that would come and give you a hand as two heads are better than one. all I can say they do fit ok but maybe not as you expect them too, as in, the same as the original system, you do have to compromise a bit.If you are still having problems give Delkevic a ring they are really helpfull or you are welcome to give me a ring on 07950729992 and I will try to explain better. cheers mick

Thanks for the phone call Mick. Not exactly a straightforward fit were they As for the mainstand bump stop I'll have to make an extension to get it to fit.

Baffles removed, this is gonna mess up my fuel consumption I now have to rev it harder just so that I can hear the lovely exhaust note ;D I'll check the colour of the plugs quite soon, just in case it decides to run lean.
