So how do you delete/withdraw one of your threads then?

You can only delete your posts. Look at the top of the box where you made the post...modify/quote/delete

Humey,
It depends on the circumstances.
If you have posted a message you want to delete, view the message and you should see Delete in the top right of the message Iit will only appear on messages you have posted).
If you have started a new thread and delete your first message the rest of the thread stays but your message is deleted
If you have started a for sale of wanted thread which is now finished and you wish to have it deleted either change the title to SOLD or FOUND by editing the first post and adding SOLD or FOUND to the title, post a SOLD or FOUND message in the thread or contact one of the managers (Myself, Reaper of Fiasco) for it to be deleted.
However deleting posts often seems to cause some upset (excluding for sale and wanted stuff) so editing the post to clarify any misunderstanding rather than deleting might be a better idea, you can edit any post you have made.
