A genuine friendly guy who is a biker himself so will treat your pride and joy with the respect it deserves.
Had a pair of 021`s fitted for £172 which compared to were I usually have my tyres from Round and Black who wanted £162 just for the tyres and delivery is a bargain.
Now I had then fitted to loose wheels but i am sure that it`s the same price for a roll in roll out service, but phone to check.
He is 1 mile outside Sandbach in Cheshire.

That is proper cheap - I'm seriously thinking about getting FWR to fit mine next time cos it's £139 all-in for a set of Avon Viper Sports.

For those a bit further South, I'm having a pair of BT021s fitted to loose wheels for my Bandit tomorrow by Chiltern Tyres in Thame (part of Merityre Group) for £180 which compares well with other prices around here. They'll only fit to loose wheels but service is pretty good and they carry good stock of popular sizes. Tel no: 01844 261181

Spoke to Steve this morning, £156 for a pair of conti road attacks for the SV, ride in ride out service.
He can fit them tomorrow morning for me.
Reaper was telling me about him at the weekend, but oddly enough I'd planned to call him for my next set of tyres anyway, I worked with Steve for a while last year and early this year.

Well, what can I say.
Steve fitted my tyres this morning, he also checked the wheel bearings while the wheels were out.
Rear wheel & sprocket carrier bearings were in very poor condition, so he found out what size they were and arranged for a set to be delivered while I had my tyres changed, he has some wheel bearings in stock, but not the sizes I needed. These were then fitted and everything put back together, and the cost for doing this was no more than I if I had fitted them myself.

Sounds pretty good to me. It sounds like it would be worth a ride out for me even - plus I can stop for Oatcake brekkie on the way - and back again ;D All my tyres are sound at the moment though, so I'll have to starve

Just though I'd bump this one back up to the top again, Since June I've arranged for 4 different bikes to have new tyres fitted by Steve, the latest being Tweety this morning (he now goes around corners ) Excellent service every time from Steve, he can usually get tyres in on next day delivery, that is assuming he doesn't stock the ones you need. Just thought i would bump this thread again. Steve supplied and fitted a pair of Dunlop Roadsmarts for me today. He charged £217 fitted, ride in ride out, everybody else wanted between £250 to £265 for the same tyres. Top job, Top bloke, well worth a visit.
