Hi Guys,
I have now got my satnav mounted properly on the bike (ram-mount and otterbox) but am finding that the reflected glare from the sun can be a pita.
Is there a solution ?? ie non reflective film or do you just put up with it ?
Cheers
Adbru

Not much you can do really Adrian, unless you can make something to produce some shade.
I've not tried non reflective film....got to be worth a try !

Cheers guys I think i'll try and rig up a shade for it, I havent use the audio side on the bike yet as I cant find earplugs/headphones which feel comfy for more than 2 minutes !! I would prefer the "pad" type which velcro to the helmet rather than in-ear plugs, any suggestions ?? I'll try and remember to post a pic of how it looks so far. The satnav is one of the old Lidl medion type which I got of reaper a couple of years ago (now runs TT5 ) Adbru

I alleviate (good word that!), the problem by pointing the screen down as much as possible and having something dark, (tank bag) in the reflection. Not perfect but it helps.

Dont use one. Getting "lost" gets us to areas we might never see otherwise and off the beaten-track with its scamera infestations.

I find turning the light on to full and playing with the contrast overcomes the majority of the glare.

Try a place called Rocket Radio ( I think?!). Based in Letchworth.

Cheers guys I would prefer the type which velcro to the helmet rather than in-ear plugs, any suggestions ?? Adbru i have a similar problem, as I have the sonic earplugs fixed into the helmet its awkward for the phones off the nav, so I have an old earpiece we used for the pupils at training school, the ones that loop over the ear, they have a mic on them but will chop that off and rewire it, nothing to lose if it dont work, as for the glare, you could try the film that they use on care windscreens at the top, or if you have a tinted visor spare you could knock summit up
