Liam - You have a pm.
I have a WP shock on the back originally made for the FJ1200, but the bikes are similar weights and the shocks are similar lengths. The Divvie rides at the same height and the shock is soft enough. But the handling is amazing. Even on soft comfy damping it tracks so much better than the old std bouncer/fillings remover.
The Blue spots with std springs are ok though my forks are now squeaky clean all the way up so must be using more of the suspension travel.

Ohlins do front springs for the D9 as do Hagon, a popular mod, is to change oil for a 15W replacement, Ohlins dont list a rear monoshock for the D900, what you see is an Ohlins monoshock to fit a pre 2003 Fazer 600, as they are the same, there are some EMC shocks and Hagon shocks on ebay, also Betor shocks, which whilst are probably as good as the origonal, but no improvement, as for the brakes, i have just fitted Fazer 600 blue spots and master cylinder to my D9, and ordered new HEL stainless lines and fittings from a guy called Vince Shaw, which included a standard rear and a Fazer 600 front but 75mm longer, total cost £62 delivered his email is payment@bikesparesonline.co.uk

Hi,
I just fitted Hagon Progressives and upgraded to 20W fork oil in my D600.
It doesn't seem particularly bouncy, but the handling has become considerably sharper and the ride has also become smoother. I went for the 20W because I'm pretty heavy, but I may consider 15W next time.
I hope this helps

Why do Yamaha cheapskates not fit drain holes? How much does it cost to drill & tap an M6 thread & a plug to the forks:

I'm sure it's for the aesthetic beauty & not for cheapskate reasons . Diversion 900's do'nt do "aesthetic beauty" Martin. At least I've never seen any, and you know where beauty is! ;D
