Does anyone know what the minimum thicknees is for the Front Discs on a 900 divvy ? Checking mine out the other day I think one of them maybe very slightly warped. So does anyone know what are good replacement parts for these ? Or better still does anyone have a spare pair in good condition ? Cheers

Thanks for the link, I shall give them a bell for a price. But does anyone actually know the minimum thickneess of the disc ? And yes I have been thinking of putting a new SHOCK on as well, but will probably go for a HAGON.

Can't tell you the exact wear limits but mine were badly grooved and at an MOT I was told they were needing replaced. I went for a British replacement, might have been EBC, but they had a much higher carbon content which gave a better brake effect but could show corrosion marks if the bike was left for a while, especially when wet. The originals discs apparently are close to stainless steel therefore don't rust.

But why, the EMC shocks are cheaper, better quality and rebuildable iirc Doof has one on one of her 600's and is well pleased

On that site that was pointed out it does actually say All EMC Shocks £245. You can get a HAGON for that price, and they are also fully rebuildable with a 2 year manufacurers warranty. I have to admit Ive never heard of EMC, but that doesnt mean a lot, but I have heard of HAGON and have used them in the past (although not on this bike) and was pleased with them.

I have seen the HAGON for just under £245 including shipping. Trying to find out more info about EMC on the web appears difficult cos at present I cant find the companys website. You may well be right that they build better shocks then HAGON, but personally ive never heard of the company and until I have some spec of their shocks to compare with the HAGON one then I have nothing to go on.

I rang Stealth Products a couple of days ago to ask about the EMC Shocks and they are now £265 not £245. Apparently they do not have access to their website in order to be able to change the price in the ad that they have got on there. I thought that was a bit poor.

Stealth quoted me <£60 each for plain (round) Divvie 900 front discs. Thats half the cost of the discs sold by M&P and I normally think they are good on prices.
EDIT. I was told the other day that Stealth discs dont last long and likely to warp. But the seller could have been trying to rubbish the competition. Has anyone tried their kit?

I have fitted stealth discs and armstrong pads 2 years ago to my 900 divvy. I have rewplaced the pads now but the discs are just fine. Better braking than the original discs on there before. They do not rust when left and look fine. recommend them and the best thing is there a lot cheaper. i use my divvy 5 days a week round trip 60 miles.
