Well it has for me anyway. Due to several problems, I've not been out on the bike since the Wantage Wander, which is why I've not done a Welsh run.
But as I was feeling fit enough on Saturday and the weather looked fine, I decided to take a trip around Wales, which absolutely knackered me. But saying that I did enjoy myself.
Pontcysyllte Old Bridge
Pontcysyllte Aqueduct
Looking over towards Snowdonia
Looking over towards Blaenau Ffestiniog and Snowdonia
As close as I could get to the decommissioned nuclear power station at Trawsfynydd

Looking good there, playing in my back yard, me being in Llandudno ! The popular routes are always a joy, but I still revel in turning along roads you usually whizz on by, a minor mystery tour.

Pleased to hear you got out, Dave.
..... I’ve not moved my bike since the Wantage Wander 😲.

Yes - same here.
Trophy has been buggered since April - finally got it back from the dealers at the end of august - but Ive not been happy with it.
So only really done a few hundred miles this year so far.
We came to an 'understanding' over it so a new bike is now in my possession and things are looking at getting back to normal - well just in time for autumn.!

Sorry to hear of your bike troubles Chris, hopefully it's all sorted now.
Since the ride out I had on Saturday I've spent most of the week in bed. Got up sometime on the Sunday morning to go the loo, put my weight on the right leg and hit the floor in agony. It seems I have a nerve problem in my hip, lots of pain when i try to walk and the bottom of my right leg and my foot keep going numb. So it looks like it might be a while before I get out on the bike again. 😪😪😪

It is a bit tall, so I have the lower seat and wear my highest heels! (read adventure boots )
Still a little on the tall side, so I might lower it later.

Nice one Chris. Is it a GT PRO by chance.

Nice one Chris. Is it a GT PRO by chance. It is the GT Pro - Im never going to be strong enough to off road a 1200 so the Explorer wasnt an option - looked at the 30ltr option on the GT, but I fancied something a bit lighter for a bit. I'd gotten so used to pushing the 300kg+ RT/ Trophy - I almost threw that out the garage just pushing it back ! Triumph did me a good deal on luggage and accessories the Pro was the natural choice. KTM and Ducati didn't seem interested or able to match the spec/accessories for the same price. BMW gave it a good shot, but by the time they'd done , it was heavier and still more expensive. Plus Pidcocks - despite not being able to fix the Trophy to my satisfaction, they gave it a good try - so can't fault them. Which isnt something you hear me saying about a dealer. Sadly I also let the Busa go :-( But its gone to a friend that currently about to mount it in his living room (yes seriously), so she's getting the retirement she deserves.
