Been with this company for a few years now and they've always managed to beat every quote I've ever had from every other broker.
I called them last week and they quoted me for just the Sprint £430 fully comp!!! BIG GULP!!! I called round a few others and managed to get slightly lower quotes and each time I called Motorcycle Direct back they re-quoted me better each and everytime when i told them what the other quotes I was getting were. Anyways after a lot of calling around they finally came in the very lowest quote I could get.... fully comp on both the Divvy and the Sprint under a multi bike policy.... £347.13 and can pay it on monthly direct debit over 9 months!!! The underwriter is Equity Red Star. policy comes with the usual breakdown cover and European cover and legal cover etc. Just shows what can be done for the sake of a few phone calls. I seriously think insurance companies make it up as they go along. Anyways thought I'd mention these coz even though they seem to play the same game as all the other compnaies they still came back with the lowest quote. Everything can be done over the phone.... paperwork/quotes and policies come through the letter box the day after the phone calls. Also the women I ended up speaking to on a few occaisons sounded well nice so me thinks I might be calling her again but not for an insurance quote this time lol
