Got home at 17:10 hrs. Mercifully dry for the last leg.
Thanks to Dave for all the work planning and leading the run.
Thanks to Reaper for back marking a lot of the time and Andy (was it?) for the rest?
Thanks to everybody else for the company.
Here's hoping Paul and his bike are OK.
It was good to be back.

Thanks Ed. Got back home. Sore and bruised but thankfully doesn't appear to be anything more than that, will no doubt feel worse tomorrow. I was particularly concerned about my right leg, as that's still undergoing treatment following my accident two years ago, due to complications there. Bike is fixable - and rode back home just fine, although lost a fairing side panel somewhere along the M54/A5. Thanks to Reaper for the escort back to The Ponderosa for tea, cake and mental assessment - and helping Andrew get the bike running again. Thanks to all who helped at the scene getting the bike up and out of the road, sorry I didn't get to say bye, but the police were dealing with me. Thanks to Dave for organising, hope you were able to continue as intended. I was really enjoying the morning... So many thanks there, an indication of what a great bunch you are!

Glad you are ok Paul. That's the main thing.
Thank you Dave for organising, and thanks to everyone for your company. It's been a long time.
It was 6.30pm when I got back.

Glad you got home OK Paul. Hope the recovery time ain't too long. We decided to cut the run short and head over to Bala for lunch then headed over to Oswestry for the end.
Thanks everyone for a cracking day. Thanks to Paul and Andy for your back marking duties.
To all that turned up at the Furlong on Saturday I hope you all had a good time. Big thanks to Flymo. Cheers Andy 🍻
Let's not leave it too long before the next ride out.
Until the next time.
Stay safe.
Dave

Sorry for the late post, been busy since I got home.
Thanks for the run Dave and believe it or not I did enjoy what part I did and even the weather. I stayed with Paul and Andrew as I was concerned for Paul and so we went back to the Ponderosa cafe for tea and cake, which seemed to do the trick. After we parted company I had a dry run all the way home.
Those early beemers are way easier to get going again even with a hole in the rocker cover, that would have been the end of the day if it had been anything later with the coil pack/spark plug in the end.
Spoke to Beebs earlier and he said he is OK, but I bet he is going to know about it tomorrow.
Hears to the next one but lets make it a dry incident free one please.
Paul

I'm back home now, after Behill & I's overnight at Wychbold. Thoroughly enjoyable & much appreciated weekend with great company, so thank you Dave for sorting it all out. The pub the night before was most entertaining. The Sunday weather was interesting at times, but to be honest I rather enjoyed it once the rainwater in my trousers had warmed up a bit. Such a shame about the incident, but if Beebs & bike made it home under their own steam then it adds up to a thumbs up in the grand scale of things. Thank you Andy (Behill) for the company there (I'm still not sure how we took over 5 hours to get to the B&B!) & back again this morning. Thank you Andy (flymo) for subsidising the alcohol intake at the pub! Thank you Andy (Greendivvy Beeb) for the chance to gawp at your dad's beemer. I do like that bike. There, that's all the Andy's thanked . Thanks Speighty for entering & winning the 'My Bike is Huge' competition but not letting it hold you up on those wet & twisty Welsh roads. Thanks Paul for joining us at the pub on Saturday, & again for sterling collecting-us-B&B-boys & your back-marker work in the morning. To John & Brian, thanks for laughing at my jokes.

Last one home!! 11:50 this morning after leaving M40man on the outskirts of Grove.
Easiest just to echo all his thanks above. Generally a good weekend. I clocked almost 500 miles - more than the bike has done in the last two years. Roll on the next one
Cheers to all.

Thanks Dave for organizing the run. I enjoyed the first part that we did even with soggy pants . I even enjoyed the middle part having to get the spanners out and duct tape after Pauls spill and bro paying for lunch and cake. Thanks to Reaper for the company back to the Ponderosa. Typical the rain stopped after lunch. Good to see you all again and catch up.

Hey there I've not been on forum for a while so am disappointed to read I missed out on a ride out last Sunday. Being in Llandudno, it would have been pretty local stuff and a chance to meet some of you other owners. Lesson learnt is to log in a bit more often, seize the day and have some great times. Sat in work, although it is a bike shop and feel a bit like Johnny No Mates !!!!! On upside, flew through MOT last week and good for another year !
