I had the need to repair an old parasol strut that was falling apart. A timber upright required replacing, which required some
carpentry. My battery drill needed a charge and using a 230v mains drill meant unwinding a long cable to the shed. So I took a delight
in using a hand drill for the job. Really enjoyed using it too. It caught on as I carried on the theme by using a plane and sand-paper
to complete the job. I'm looking for a proper chippies pencil to stick behind my ear now!

I get a lot of satisfaction pottering away on jobs in the shed. I am lucky that I have a lot of spare time, and all the tools required. I am looking at 'projects' on Ebay for likely bikes to work on. Though not necessarily using the afore mentioned Old Skool tools
