Got my rider mounted on the bike yesterday on the tomtom 'mirror' mount, not impressed Fouls the heated grip cable and sits at too much of an angle as well as touch the bike screen at full lock. Anybody got theirs on a Ram mount? Is it ok? Any pics? I only need to buy the wee ram mirror bracket as I've got all the other bits.

I use the handlebar mount , with the "L" shape adhesive mount. I had to get some extra nuts & bolts as they are not in the mounting kit. I have it mounted to the outside of the right hand handlebar clamp. It doesn't obstruct my view of the clocks.

Someone was telling me at the weekend that they got a strap to hold theirs into the cradle as it kept flying out when he hit bumps !!
DD recommends the Touratech cradle but expensive by all accounts.
Wouldn't happen with a Garmin !

Big thank you Matt, mirror bracket ordered Now fitted and tested, much better than the Tomtom mount, yesterdays run was a pretty bumpy one and GPS stayed powered up and better yet, on the mount, ;D Maybe not the prettiest set up, but functional

Just a wee update on how the Tomtom is behaving. Yesterdays run was about 220 miles, no problems with power lead, no falling out of cradle, (we're talking highland roads here!). I like the Ram mount because you don't have to divert your eyes too far down. All in all very pleased.
