Garmin have just put a link on their website for people to order update discs for Mapsource City Navigator V9, wasn't there when I looked the other day.
I think it's free to all who bought units after the release date Sept 1st 2006.

Oh yes, although the update software is free for everyone, it is $75 + VAT for the unlock codes (unless you bought your unit new since 01.09.06).

Is there a way round the unlock codes anyone? I'm still using v7.0.....Ady Don't think so. The only way I know is that one unlock code is allowed on 2 different units. I've used up my 2 units' allowance by giving it to cheep skates who would not pay the registration fee.

Update disc received today
Upgraded with no problem but won't download the maps to the unit until after the Postcombe weekend because all routes done i V8.
