Hi folks.
I've recently bought a 2003 Diversion 900. It's used every day as my only means of transport, so I'm hoping to gain some useful technical tips and info to help keep it on the road.
It's been 20 years since I last rode a Yamaha but, if this one is as tough as my 1982 550 Maxim was, I'll be happy.

Hi and welcome. Congrats on your purchsase. What mileage has bike got on it? Don't know how much you know about them, but here's a few bits of info. You will have already found out they are heavy when parking/ pushing em about, but pleased to say the weight disappears when moving. Servicing is straight forward. Getting to the cambox is the worst part when doing the shims. The only thing not to like, is the weight as mentioned. Oh do check your centre stand - as they are known to rust/crack and break. Anyhow if you have any questions you know where to come. Atb

Hi, and welcome to the YDC. You have definitely come to to right place for help and assistance about the legendary big Divi. It's as tough as old boots, and just keeps going on and on. I've owned 3 of them, going back to 2002. And I'd own another tomorrow. Brilliant bike. Look around the site for any tips and advice, just fire away with any questions, someone will always be around to advise.
Again, welcome to the Divi site.

Hi There
I have owned 5 of these over the years, including one which I completely rebuilt. A nice simple design with many parts available on eBay.
Rust and ageing electrics can be a cause for concern, but easily rectified, the engines are very tough though.
