Has anyone ever fitted an alternative rear caliper to the Diversion 900? Having changed to blue spots on the front which have been brilliant and low maintenance so far seems to me the often sticking rear caliper is the weak link. Suppose it'd be a case of finding something with the correct bolt hole spaces maybe a Fazer 1000 rear would be a good thing to fit if its possible?

Has anyone ever fitted an alternative rear caliper to the Diversion 900? Not me. Though I do have a spare rear caliper, repainted, rebuilt, new pads, waiting to go on when the one on needs re-fettling .

Yeah I did buy a refurbed one a while ago, just surprised me how quickly they go from working sweetly to needing attention again! They seem to stick very easily with a bit of crud build up over not many miles. Something like a blue spot rear would be lovely if the fronts are anything to go by.

I believe a front blue spot would work on the DIvvie 900 rear. It would need a special bracket and torque arm but that can't be too hard to arrange. It would be more powerful than OEM but (if needed) snubbers can be fitted to reduce hydraulic pressure or just be less stampy on the pedal.
A sports bike rear blue spot I'm sure would be too weak on the Diversion. Sports bikes hardly use the rear brake.
