Does anyone know the sizes of the linkage needle bearings for the 900 swingarm - just the two which fit into the mounting point for the linkage underneath the swingarm? Believe the front two which meet the frame are a pretty straightforward 30203 size.

Thanks, think its the first set on that link BHKM1730JU I need only two of for the swingarm itself where it connects to the linkage via the rods. Linkage bearings I believe to be good as substituted a Fazer one for the original not so long ago...That's a great help for me finding a place to source them at a real world price!

You could consider Igus polymer sleeve bush bearings. They would need purpose made spacers and probably new spindle pins as well. But they are very low cost and can stand the hammer of farm machinery.
The problem with needle rollers they move only a few degrees back and forth. The grease is quickly rubbed away, rollers run dry and create a flat spot.

Thanks but have just finished fitting the repainted swingarm with new bearings from Marksman, I'll make more of an effort to keep them greased up from now on - made the mistake of assuming I didn't need to when I bought the bike eight years ago! The bike feels a lot better with all that excess play removed from the linkage rods. I bought this arm to refurbish so could keep bike on road while I was doing it, it was a rusted up mess initially but now looks pretty tidy - you can see some pitting where the rust has gotten to it even after sanding but its all functional so I'm happy.
