Today I just received a pair of vox plus ptt / throat microphone headsets with curly acoustic tube earpieces for my PMR transceivers. I got them on Ebay from a chap in Vancouver - he trades under "myjames007" and sells headsets to fit almost any type of PMR radio. His prices are very good indeed - I paid under £24 including delivery for two kits to suit my Motorola radios ;D Quality of build is excellent and sound quality is very good too. Delivery took 2 weeks - not bad - but at least he states that it will take so long in the blurb. I've not tried them on the bike yet - I'll add an update when I've tested them out fully mobile. It seems a good solution as you can still use the radio without your lid on. Also being a throat mike it will hopefully not suffer from wind noise vox activation as it's worn under the neckie etc. I hope to be joining y'all on the Postcombe ride out soon so you can tell me how good they sound then!
