No, not the Triumph kind, the mountain kind!! Just been for another of my walking holidays but used the bike to get there. Just to prove that us Southerners do ride our bikes occasionally!! Regards Andy

SOFTY SOUTHERNER ACTUALLY VENTURES PAST HIS LOCAL McDONALDS ON HIS BIKE.
Looks fantastic, our 6 day trip to the Assen GP was accompanied by so much rain we'd have been better off in canoes. This looks like what a European tour should be, Sunshine, scenery and great roads.
Where did you go ? Obviously the Dolomites, but where ?

Stayed in Badia if that helps. Corvara was a few miles down the road and the start (for us) of the Sella Ronda. The pictures are from the top of the Passo Gardena which just proved that its embarrasing when the germans overtake on the outside of the hairpin bends.
We took the Fernpass and Brenner pass through Austria on the way down and back but otherwise it was motorway all the way.
Both days on the return journey started off persisting down but dried out after 90mins or so.
Andy.
