Thanks to all that attended. We were blessed with the weather & relatively clear roads. Big thanks to Bob who stepped in and sorted the lunch stop when my first choice was HEAVING when we arrived. Price you pay for good weather. But the small Cafe Bob took us to was lovely. Hope you all enjoyed the selection of roads and I MAY be tempted to do next years too. I had a great time catching up with folks. Just peeved I won't be on the JR17 with you lot.

Well done for stepping up and organising Matt.
Only sorry I couldn't join you all on the run but enjoyed sinking a few jars and the craic at the Griff overnight. Nice to catch up with folks, hopefully next time I'll be back on two wheels.

Yes, I'll echo the thanks to Matt for organising a great route and superb weather.
Shame we couldn't at least stop and admire the view from Broadway Tower - you can see right across to the Brecon Beacons, definitely one of the best views in this part of the country, anyway. But I'm glad the alternative lunch stop was acceptable. The lasagna was excellent, and didn't leave any room for the superb apple pie. The owner informs me that in a few weeks they'll have a much expanded dining area plus lots of outdoor seating too. He's very keen to cultivate bike groups (well, civilised ones like the YDC, ahem). If anyone feels like giving them a boost on Trip Advisor I'm sure he'd be only too happy.
I'm down to lead a run for the Yamaha Thundercats on Saturday 5th August, which will probably use some of the roads around there (Fish Hill etc.), plus, by special request, the Charlbury TT. Start and finish is at a hotel between Oxford and Banbury where one of the members works (accommodation may be available at mate's rates, but I know it was filling up quickly). Very happy to have a few Divvy types along, so if you're interested put the date in the diary. I'll try to remember to post more details nearer the time.

Thanks Matt. Fantastic run, on fantastic roads in the brilliant English countryside. For me, the run was split perfectly with the lunch stop halfway through. We got back to a sunny Fylde Coast at 8.30pm. Nice to see everyone too.

Ade says: Had a fantastic day. Was nice to see everyone. Thanks to Tigger for organising & Flymo for backmarking. Also for bearing with me trying to learn how to ride again. ;-) Was glad that Fern was wearing the Dickhead Magnet and not me as probably wouldn’t have avoided all those cars trying to take her out.

And from me: (Blimey it’s like the Two Ronnies all over again) Was great to see you all, fabulous weather for the WWW & glad to have caught up at the revised lunch stop. Bob, you were right, the lasagne/garlic bread was extremely good. I stayed on & just had to try it, it was amazing. I now absolutely stink.... :-P They’re re-opening in 4 days’ time with the revamped indoor layout so not long to wait. ( patio area of course taking longer.) Definitely a good choice although I hear perhaps an extra egg on the ham, egg'n'chips would be the right way to go....

Glad everyone had a good time. Sorry Debs & I couldn't make the run but we enjoyed the evening and catching up with old friends. Looking forward to seeing some of you in Scotlandshire. ☺

Already been said but need to say it myself. Thanks to Matt for a cracking day out and to Andy for back marking. The weather gods were also looking down on us.
