Do you need to remove most of the fairing to change the headlight bulb? i have hands like dinner plates! or can it be done in situ? thanks steve.

Its much easier if you do. You can then check out what's underneath while you are at it.

It can be done without removing anything, but it's certainly fiddly.

On my D6 it could be done in situ quite easily even with big hands - by going up from underneath.
