From: GhostlyBlankStare Sent: 6/1/2005 If you have one, please tell us how you get on with it here These small 3 volt battery intercoms have recently started finding their way into the country from Europe where they seem to be the equivalent of Oxford's BikeMike sets. They have an inbuilt mono FM radio, 3.5mm audio input and 2.5mm mobile phone connections. Both rider and pillion get ptt switches to link to a 3.5mm/2.5mm connected PMR radio. They're coming in at between £50 and £95. On paper these seem to offer all the features for the £150+ 'serious' intercoms. However it's obvious that they're going to suffer limitations (3v power output and no bike power options, for example). I've got my hands on a 2nd hand set but have not tested it so can't comment further. From: chrisA696 Sent: 6/20/2005 Hi AJ,ive got one of those Albrecht intercoms and i'm happy with it. I can still talk to Tracey at motorway speeds, albeit i've got to speak a bit clearer instead of my usual waffle.Radio isnt much cop above urban speeds and i've yet to try a cd player on it,might try it for derbyshire run. The headsets are both for full face lids but i've atatched the mic to the front of one cheek pad in Traceys flip front and I can still hear her ok, even with earplugs in,unless she opens the front right up. I'll let you know how i get on with a cd player on. cheers Chris
