Hi everyone. my first post and while i have searched everywhere inside this forum and on google i apologise if this has been asked before. i have a 2001 xj900s which i am trying to get back on the road. attached to the negative terminal of the battery was an old style fuse. as i put the battery back in it just fell out and i cant find anywhere it plugs in (white connector). im starting to doubt that it is even part of the bike. been searching for where to plug it in for hours. can anyone enlighten me and put me out of my misery? Thank you. Wire

Well a guess admittedly, has your bike got heated grips?, otherwise if everything (else ) works and it doesn't affect its running ...anyway someone more expert on such matters will not doubt mosey along...

Thank you both. I must have taken the battery out dozens of times over the years and never noticed it wasnt attached to anything!
All the best.

Nope it happens, especially if they do not seem to do anything' M40 man is quite right as I have them on 3 Italian bikes(which tend to be battery full charge depenadant, however if you want to use the connection, I found a new trickle charger which converts to regular crocodile clips , with an interchangeable terminal, fits both Cagiva connectors but not the one on my Aprilia Mille.(Its actually up for sale as I have difficulty riding it after damaging my knee whilst writing off an Aprilia Futura). So if you want to use the connectors make sure any trickle charger marries up OK. Good luck with the Divvy, great silky smooth comfy bikes, however with health issues found my one a bit heavy for manouvering out of the back garden, otherwise a great ride.
