Well, the C2C failed to disappoint this year - fine weather, great roads, & good company. Add to that the odd unfortunate incident & it was a well-rounded weekend of thrills & spills for less than 100cc's of pulling power [1]. My thanks are due to Babs & Ian for the fine accommodation, complete with night-time visitor to keep me warm in bed. To Ian for his great sat-nav'd route, which was doubtless impossible on one of them new-fangled Garmin or TomTom jobbies. To Mac & Debs for their acts above & beyond duty in seeing me safely there & back, with my ludicrous amount of camping paraphernalia (I wasn't going to be cold this year!). Rob had the misfortune to once again fail to complete the C2C. This year in more spectacular style than last year . Here's a pic to illustrate his main difficulty: Apparently he's skiving off work this morning. I hope he has an understanding boss [2]! Will post some pics soon, in the appropriate place. [1] Well, I was on a sub-100cc machine . [2] Apparently Mac had to have a new van tyre fitted by Tasty Tyre's second-best mechanic instead this morning! Footnote: My C2C chums will be thrilled to learn that I found these at home:

He failed to complete ? I don't see anything a bit of M40man bodge tape and cable ties couldn't fix. Looks a bit nasty.

Debs & I arrived home safely after a very enjoyable weekend.
Thanks to Ian & Babs for their hospitality and to Martin and Rob for joining us.
Will post some photos in next couple of days.
