Morning all I've been scouring the internet to see if i can locate a set of discs for a decent price. I'm chasing up soke leads on breakers but i thought i may as well ask on here and also ask if anyone knows of any other discs from other bikes that are compatible? theres a pre diversion set going but for decent money but dont know if they'd work! cheers for any help you can give! Sarah Update: Found a source - All Bike Engineering (http://www.allbikeengineering.co.uk/discs.php) have quoted £65 a disc, way cheaper than even wemoto, yet to find out p&p though. Yet to buy and test but if I do I'll let you know.

A word of warning, I recently bought a pair of discs from eBay, from a breakers. They turned out to be bent which didn't show until I fitted them, maybe the bike they came from had been in a crash? Luckily the seller gave me a refund.

Firstly welcome from a Softie Southerner, as one kilt wearing Jockular fellow called Beverley calls us. You haven't said what bike you need them for and sorry but in my experience of being around bikes 5 decades seldom are things interchangeable even sometimes on what amount to evolution models. For instance XJ series Yamahas 600 to 1200 have entirely different disc brakes I believe. Yes they may be interchangeable however say an XJ600 like what I got has twin discs whereas the naked Diversion, not actually called a Divvy but one in effect has a single disc. I had a same year Aprilia Atlantic Sprint, and it had a four pot Caliper front and interlinked 2 pot interlinked rear one, however the older type Atlantic I just bought has twin front discs and an interlinked single rear. This was in effect a restyled reskinned Piaggio X9 which all the range from 125 to 500 had twin discs, albeit there was an (same frame engines as X9 X8 in 125, 400 forms )that had twin discs, that weren't Brembo , they were Chinese made. The Evo engined Aprilia Atlantic second series(the first was a 500 only, was in a prettier party frock than the dumpy Piggio, however given the single disc withABS front brake as it was reputed to help upsprungup weight, maybe cancelled out with me and provisions aboard, but again my latest one has the older Master engine, and just to complecate matters further the 125 /200 series the latter not officially sold in the UK, had Leader single four valve water cooled engines whilst the 400/500 Sprints had Evo ones. You have not been specific about what bike/ discs you are seeking. A while ago on here a guy asked if some Brembo Calipers on Fleabay would fit his Diversion 900, t'wit this one's reply was no way Jose. The Twin 4 Caliper front Brembos and discs on my Futura are smaller than the Ape Mille ones, and to fit the larger Mille ones you would have to fit Mille/ Falco fork stantions but to go the whole hog as some have enquirer to make it like Touno the fork angle where the yokes go through the bottom of the trees is at a different angle to the top so they won't fit a Futura. R and later factories, that superceded the RSVRs had Ohlins, as opposed to Sachs front suspension I believe, as well as adjustable steering dampers, my early Gen 1 RSV has a non adjustable type. personally I feel dampers are only of any real use on race tracks however after a misunderstanding on the AFI site , I hadn't realised the Mille being discussed was a later gen 2 model and the base model R by then had Sachs forks and no steering damper, oh wellH live and learn.i
My Bugatti Blue Mille was only available in that hue where after the blue available was of the achingly boring Navy type colour( my current Atlantic Silver Grey, not battleship) and like my Mille is the fastest colour for the Marque. Likewise Flame Red is the fastest one for my Sports Tourer.
After a remote master cylinder seemed to work after the XJ brakes failed on me as did the ones on my D9, but likewise there was a bit of pressure that very nearly had me off the Bid Divvey en route home a very hairy and snowy ride home from the vendor, at least the 600. Gave me warning, and on this occasion I bypassed the return compensator , however sic elsewhere I needed to get somewhere in a hurry, and knew parking would be impossible by car so did the couple of miles despite a mushy brake scenario.
Next day I put the old master cylinder back on which also is the mirror housing, then as I was suspicious the thing was only braking on one Caliper before, and an attempt to use the twin lines off my Mille and fit a one into two I got off Fleabay seven quid were aborted as a three hour struggle latterly with headlight and torch beat me, so the twin blue plastic coated wezmos went back on the Mille, 20 minutes including bleeding, and the braided silver line spare off my Sachs( red Wezmos on that) was the only one to hand and then when trying to fit it to the right Caliper turned out the banjo bolt was spinning on a half shafted thread.
So it just about reached the left one and as the two Philips head rusty screw were wedged into the master cylinder top cover, (part of the reason I had tried a remote) My trusty syringe was again handy to draw out the air from the bleed nipple and pump fresh fluid back in double handedly .

Hmmm. Well that seems at odds with their current Ebay ad : "1 or a pair?
The price listed is for one front brake disk rotor, part number DBRSXJ692. If you want a pair, please buy two of these disc brakes, and we will post them together at no extra cost. If you want the discs sent by Express Post, there is an extra charge per brake disc."

i think that only means for Australia, i messaged them and this was the reply:
"Hi, Yes we can ship to the UK. Each disc will cost $45.00AUD to ship. So a total shipping cost is $135.00AUD. We use DHL for all international shipping as we have found them to be fast and reliable. The front discs are $109.95 AUD each and the rear is $99.95 AUD"

Just to finish this off, All Bike Engineering will deliver for £10 so its a grand total of £140 for two front discs! Bargain given that on wemoto the cheapest you can get is £170 with postage. At that I'll be able to get all 3 discs for £180 saving about 40 quid

I fitted ABE discs on mine, no issues and as you say a good price compared to others plus you know they're UK made and you have some come back if there are issues.
