Apologies, I was really looking forward to this, but it looks as though I have to be elsewhere.
I hope it all goes well, and have a great run.

Why are there two threads about this run? This one last updated by flymo on Jul 7th at 7:34pm and another in the recent threads section last updated by me 15 hours ago.
Must make counting numbers more difficult.

There are normally 2 threads for runs. One for run details and the other for attendees sign ups.
Sometimes Jock Runs can have up to five or six separate threads. ;D

On these two threads there are different people committing to the run on both.

No but 'sign up sheet' should surely be a form not just another thread?? It would make it much easier for the run organiser.
I have no idea how to make that happen but I am sure there is a clever person on here who could.

I think the idea is that there is a run sign-up thread, which has the list of attendees maintained on the first post by the person offering the run. Needn't be much there, except the actual details needed to attend (when / where) & maybe a statement saying if you want brekkie or not - that sort of thing. Purely practical stuff for the person offering the run.
Then a separate run thread, where amongst various tangents there will be discussions between likely attendees on matters like where they might meet up for the run up, where they might be staying / offering to share double rooms with, etc. In other words, the clutter that would otherwise choke up the sign-up thread.
I think!

OK but still seems a bit 'clunky' to me.
So just in case I have signed up on the wrong thread (the other one) I confirm I will be there.
Aiming to be at the Iron Horse for 9 or very soon after and will be needing a non-vegetablearian breakfast.
Looking forward to the run and meeting some of you.
Hope the chef isn't going to have one of his off days, I looked up the Iron Horse and the reviews seem to alternate between excellent and terrible!
