Yes almost certainly fine. 100 RON is a higher octane rating so it can be used in higher performance (higher compression) engines without pre ignition. You would be in more trouble if you put in a lower RON than the engine was designed for.

Though it was designed to run on regular unleaded! that is regular American unleaded, which is of lower quality than EU supplied regular unleaded, super unleaded in America has a similar octane rating to regular here, that is why you can fit an ignition advancer, and the bike will produce more power, they exploit the margin in detonation, between the octane here and in the USA, whereas bikes with anti knock sensors adjust automatically!

More expensive and, unless you fit an advancer, pointless but harmless. British unleaded is 95 RON, Super Unleaded is about 97-98 RON

Plus the yanks love their Ethanol which old Unbraided lines o rings and rubber gaskets even diaphragms on some old carbs, dont.
RON fuel, nope it was a case of WRONG fuel when I very nearly put the black stuff in, or maybe even had. Went out out for a run Sunday last, austensibly to make sure that the left disc surface rust wasn't due to the fact someone had replaced the right line, with a new silver braided one but it was only when replacing the left indicator, and cracked mudguard end on my XJ 600 that I realised the line to the left disc was the old rubber type. Was it doing its job properly. Another good excuse not to be sensible and keep warm.
There was no need to remove my skid lid at Asda as it has self service only locally, and I use the excuse that the visor on my open face helmet, when open is right in my line of vision.
However not a lot seemed to be happen nozzle wise, then I realised I had grabbed the derv one. Whada mistaker to a maker, as Gavin Richards Italian Generralli character in Allo Allo used to a say.
The pump demanded 97p, so what to do limp the two three miles home and drain the tank(recycle the mix for an outboard)or redo the PIN number thingy and hope it was demanding a minimum payment for fresh air or just fill it up and hope for the best. I took that option. the bike fully warmed by then the bike leapt forward, without the slightest hint of diesel rattle, and even turned a few heads withs it's four into one,and rorty slip on but this softie southerner(who has been out on electric assisted mountain bike and one of his motor bikes virtually every day since having an enforced month layoff)decided it was just a bit too chilly for another blast down the bypass.
Instead rode around alongside the quay, past the sailing club, got a friendly nod returned from a Beemer rider and back home alongside the sea, and found at home the left disc was nice and shiney. never done that before, well ok once before with my first Mondeo, but the nozzle didn't fit.
