Took a look at the 125 today and found the bolts are all made of cheese. I removed the rear wheel so that I could wire brush the swingarm and coat with copious amounts of black hammerite paint. cleaned the chain gaurd whilst it was removed though.

is it basically sound, but that bit corroded? it looks like a throwaway and get a new one part!

Yep, not surprisingly, as they are apparently made of tinfoil, swingarms are normally away. My quest continues.

That's not as daft as it sounds, I have made a fazer 1000 swingarm fit a FJ1200, how hard can it be?

Started doing a wee bit to the 125 at the weekend. Cleaned the rear shocks But what about the swingarm? I've got some lovely grey paint in the garage once it's all welded up.
