Just back in from the run - having left the group west of Thruxton. Roads weren't nearly as bad as expected although a bit muddy in places - but apparently that's down to Martins Sat Nav Thorough enjoyed the ride out. Thanks for the company guys and thanks to M40Man for arranging it (was going to say 'organising' but ....) Cheers Andy

We got back a bit before 5, so not too bad. An excellent day out, thanks all who joined in to make it so . Not sure how we missed Mac & Debs - we were at the first stop from a little before 12 until nearly half-past . JTB left a bit early, but was nice to see after so long. That fog on the last dozen miles or so was a shame, but rest of the day pretty damned good. Got some pics I'll upload shortly - found a nice photo-op which was slightly unplanned Hope Woger & Vaughan get home not too chilled. Ian is taking up residence here again tonight - & he calls himself an adventurer .

My apologys for leaving early. I was tried and cold and my concentration levels were low and Whitchurch is on my way home. Enjoyed the run route I did and the breakfast and seeing everyone

Thanks Martin for a great weekend, got home just after 6, loads of freezing fog to contend with on the way. Thought my right fingers were going to drop off it was that cold heading up the M5!

- we were at the first stop from a little before 12 until nearly half-past . Was that going by the big oval clock on the wall of the café? Glad I decided to man up and come along, and even got in a bit of mild off-roading. Anyway, thanks for a (mostly) fun ride.

But then the time I'd told Mac we'd be there was 1pm, not 12 as well, so Mac left an hour before I'd said we were due to arrive. Riddle of the non-meet sorted, courtesy of our route scout :-)

good weekend, thank you very much. run was good, with a little 'off road' section, otherwise on actual roads.. last few miles was foggy, and visability not good, as was the journey home, fog all the way, but unlike uk diceman, was not cold for me, just felt like riding home one handed though, left was a constant wiper ! (on the viser) sharing a room with ukdiceman and trixie was an experiance great to get out though, and to meet up with a few 'ardy types' for a nice bit of winter riding. Thanks again M40man

Well I am back home now, a great weekend, thanks to Martin and Christine for the fabulous hospitality,
The day started out slightly cold but soon warmed up, managed to hoon along the roads, shame about the fog for the last 20 miles, staying over was great, balmy weather for the ride home, but rain appeared in the south lakes!
Another great start to the year!

It was you . It was around 10:15am and it was an RT with colour coded panniers, black and yellow jacket and white helmet I think . I wasn't spying on you for Babs , just happened to look over at the right time, I should concentrate more on driving perhaps but the M40 is boring or i've got a sixth sense .
