In the process of removing the fairing I found that the screw holding the fairing on by my right knee was spinning round. The rubber thingummywotsit that it screws into either disintegrated or has been removed in the past. Plus the ones around the screen need replacing too.
So two questions. Firstly what are they called so I can look them up and secondly, anyone know where to get them from please?

BTW there is a choice of plastic or metal screws I used plastic on the divi & it saved more damage other than screw heads when it fell over in the garage hitting the screen just a couple of screws to replace screen & faring ok. Now awaiting flak for even suggesting not fitting metal screws Neil

Now awaiting flak for even suggesting not fitting metal screws Neil Not here - plastic screws work fine for screens. Mind, last time I bought wellnuts was from Ebay, they came with metal screws. .......... I think the fairing (side mounts) ones must be a bigger size? I can't remember now .

Well nuts, you learn something new every day. Thanks, I would never have guessed. Yes the fairing one is bigger than the windshield ones.
